Spool Maker is a free Android app for the NFC spool tags used with UltiMaker 3D printers. UltiMaker filament spools use NFC tags (RFID) so the printer can identify material and spool information. With Spool Maker, you can read the data stored on these tags directly with an NFC-enabled Android device. The app is designed to read both original UltiMaker spool tags and tags written with Spool Maker.
